All will be solid

SOLVE is an EU-funded project aiming to develop the batteries of the future: safer, with a enhanced performance and fast-charging capabilities, and with highly sustainable and circular manufacturing.

With a consortium formed by 16 international partners from across the entire European battery value chain, SOLVE will focus on the development of 10-20 Ah Gen4b solid state batteries (Li-metal and anode-free) to revolutionize tomorrow’s mobility.

SOLVE will last for 48 months, during which there will be intense collaboration between partners to combine their unique experience, know-how, and state-of-the-art technologies.

In addition to technological developments, SOLVE has a special focus on disseminating the obtained results and creating training activities that contribute to the EU battery landscape.
